Our company took part in World Food 2003, the 12th Anniversary International Exhibition.
Our company works in advertising souvenir business not for one year and has experience of participation in profile exhibitions. «And what about souvenirs and foodstuff?» — you ask and will be completely right. The fact is that, first of all, our souvenirs are edible, they are made from chocolate, and secondly, since August, 2003, we have been developing an activity, completely new for us — the approach for the retail market.
For this reason we decided to participate in World Food exhibition to show our new products and to acquire necessary contacts.
Our comfortable stand was set on the first floor of hall 1. We covered walls with heavy beige fabrics in combination with easy gold draperies. We hung up three pictures in a frame from heavy fillets: on a black velvet background the real boxes with chocolate are located! It was a true theatre, where magnificent chocolate acted the main character. The concept of stand design and products presentation was named ««Premiera». And really how also it's possible to characterize an action, when the chocolate appears from heavy theatrical draperies. Applauses to the new hero! However, there were no applauses at the exhibition. Our stand was occupied by a number of visitors, who went to know what kind of chocolates were represented in our showcases. The employees of our company worked hard, finding time to answer everybody and to give a booklet, or a pack with chocolate samples or even a new polish chocolate assortment!
Testing competition was held within the exhibition events. The commission was composed of the representatives of the Agriculture Ministry of Russian Federation. The reward of the winners in» confectionery products «nomination took place on 25 of September. Excellent news: our chocolate received a gold medal and an honourable title -»Product of the year 2003 «. And it is besides seven medals «Mark of quality ŐŐI century» available.
Thus World Food 2003 food exhibition was so productive for us.
