Labels

A label may contain any information that does not contradict common sense or the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The customer usually provides us with the necessary illustrations (logo, photographs etc.) in electronic format. Our designers can then create the label and prepare the design for printing.

But you can provide us with a ready-made original design for the label (this doesn’t affect the cost of the order). In this case, please read carefully the instructions on the technical requirements that your design must meet.

• Designs can be accepted in the EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) and/or AI (Adobe Illustrator) formats. Designs should be made in the Adobe Illustrator programme (not older than Version 7) or taken in the required formats from other vector graphics programmes (Corel Draw, FreeHand etc.).
• The background of the label should have a margin of 3 mm on each side.
• All the elements of the illustration—except the background—should lie within the label not near than 3 mm from its trimming edge. Cutting marks must be placed along the trimming edge.
• The thickness of the lines should be no less than 0.25 points.
• If full colour illustrations are used in the design (photographs and slides), files of these illustrations in TIFF or PSD formats must be supplied together with the formats. Colours—CMYK with a resolution of no less than 250 dpi (but no more than 600 dpi) without scaling.
• If the customer chooses a colour in Pantone, then this colour should be provided in a file (the illustration should be done in this colour). Additionally, the number of the Pantone colour should be indicated in an accompanying note.
• Logos and company signs should preferably be inserted into the original design in vector form.
• If colour fading is used, it is essential to take account of the fact that for technological reasons there can be no fading into 0% colour. It is also recommended to avoid sharp colour borders at the places of folding.

Our designers have developed a range of designs for bright, attractive labels in which you can insert your company logo. If you choose this method, please read carefully the technical requirements, which your logo must meet:

• Vectored logos can be accepted in the EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) and/or AI (Adobe Illustrator) formats. Designs should be made in the Adobe Illustrator programme (not older than Version 7) or taken in the required formats from other vector graphics programmes (Corel Draw, FreeHand etc.). If the logo is done on a PC, then the fonts should be transferred to curves. If the logo is done on a Macintosh, the fonts should be attached in a separate file.
• Other logos should have a resolution of not less than 250 dpi in CMYK TIFF or CMYK EPS formats.

If you have a logo in electronic format, but it doesn’t correspond to the requirements, you should still send it to us. Our designers will estimate the amount of work required, after which we will inform you of any additional charges. If your company’s logo exists only on paper (say, on a visiting card), send it to us. The designers will scan it and prepare it for printing. We will inform you of any additional charges.
